Hoyt LUTES who recently retired from his work at the Fairfield Post Office, has been named treasurer of the Jefferson County Public Employes' Credit Union. Retired from PO after 27 years of experience; began work at the Post Office May 11, 1942, as a substitute clerk-carrier. World War II. Native of Nebr.; reared and educated in the Packwood community; moved to Fairfield in 1934 and was empoyed at the Turner Hotel. Also worked one year in the County Treasurer's office before his appointment at the Post Office.
