Clifford and Geraldine DRUMMEY will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Dec. 5 with a family celebration and card shower.
Clifford DRUMMEY and Geraldine Ann PHILLIPS were married Dec. 5, 1943, in Cedar Rapids. They moved to Fairfield in 1963 when Mr. DRUMMEY accepted the position of superintendent at Fairfield Waterworks. He retired in 1988. Mrs. DRUMMEY was a stay at home mother.
The couple has three children: Alicia TYGART and husband Richard of Fairfield; Kathleen PENROD and husband Scott of Lisle, Ill; and Douglas DRUMMEY and wife Haifa of Council Bluffs.
They have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
