Dean and Joyce GABBERT of Nauvoo, Ill., and formerly of Fairfield will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary Thursday.
The couple were married in the First United Methodist Church Oct 9, 1942. Mrs. GABBERT's uncle, Robert PHILLIPS, performed the ceremony. PHILLIPS is now 99 years old.
The GABBERTs met at Parsons College in Fairfield and are both former employees of The Fairfield Ledger.
