PICKERINGs celebrate 50th

Karen and Lonnie PICKERING Sr. of Wayland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children.

The open house will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Plain Community Building.

Karen Sue BAKER and Lonnie Lee PICKERING Sr. were married Aug. 27, 1958, at the Brighton Church of God.

They are the parents of Lonnie PICKERING Jr. of Wapello, David PICKERING of Wayland and Barb WATERHOUSE and husband Dan of rural Washington. They have nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend the open house. The couple requests no gifts.
