JAMESONs celebrate 40th

John JAMESON and Dixie BLACK JAMESON will celebrate their 40th anniversary June 30 with a card shower.

The couple was married June 30, 1968, at the People's Church in Batavia. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Kermit BLACK, father of the bride.

Mr. JAMESON is director of service for Freedom Tire Co. in Des Moines.

Mrs. JAMESON has worked for Wal-mart Discount City in Altoona for 18 years and is the pharmacy technician. She is a 1965 graduate of Fairfield High School.

The couple has two children: Cecelia and husband Jim HOPWOOD of Ottumwa and Jamie and husband Frank JIMENEZ of Apple Valley, Minn. They have three grandchildren.

The couple lived in Ottumwa for several years.
