VORHIES has 85th year

Vern Jr. VORHIES, also known as "Cab," will be 85 years old Thursday.

VORHIES was born March 13, 1923 and raised in the Lockridge/Glasgow area. He shares his birthday with his father, Vern E. and his sister, Wilma VORHIES JOHNSON of Santa Maria, Calif. He has had a lifelong interest in motorcycles, antique gasoline engines and enjoys the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion.

VORHIES is retired from the Michigan/Wisconsin Pipeline. He was married to Joyce HESTON, deceased, and has four children: Robert and Richard, both deceased; Randy, Paul's Valley, Okla. and Linda VORHIES-HUMISTON, Columbus Junction. VORHIES has five grandchildren.

VORHIES would enjoy hearing from friends. His address is 11004 Nova Ave., Birmingham 52535.
