Know all men that we Adam KNERR and Margred wife of the said KNARR and John BEECHER and Mathews wife of the said BEECHER and Jacob JORGE and Elizabeth wife of the said JORGE and Jacob LEFFLER Henry LEFFLER and Joseph LEFFLER the above names are all heirs of Christina LEFFLER, for the sum of sixty dollars, to us paid grant, bargain and sell to Sofiph COLLENS his heirs and assigns in fee simple the following land in the County of Jefferson and State of Iowa, to-wit:--The Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of section No Four (4) in Township No (72) Seventy two North of Range No Eight (8) West. Containing forty acres, and covenant that she shall forever quietly enjoy the same and that free from encumbrance; and that we do warrant and will forever defend the same to him against all lawful claims and Margred and Mathews & Elizabeth wifes of the said Adam KNARR and John BEECHER & Jacob JORGE they all relinquish their dower in said land.
In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the 72th day of February in the year 1850.

I, Michael Mesner a Justice of the Peace of said County certify that on the 27th day of February in the year 1850 the above named Adam KNARR Margred wife of the said Knarr and John BEECHER and Mathews wife of the said BEECHER and Jacob GEORGE and Elizabeth wife of the said GEORGE and Jacob LEFFLER Henry LEFFLER Joseph LEFFLER all heirs of the estate of Christina LEFFLER to me personally known to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the above deed as parts thereto acknowledged before me that they executed the same, I further certify that I, made the said Margred KNARR and Mathews BEACHER and Elizabeth GEORGE acquainted with the contents of said deed, and that they acknowledged on an examination apart from thare husbands, that they executed the same and relinquished thar dower in the real estate therein named freely and without complulsion or undue influence of thare husbands.
