BLACK---GAINES--- Dec. 21st, 1869, at the house of the bride’s mother, by Rev. Carson REED, assisted by Rev. Thos. MERRILL, Mr. Frank J. L. BLACK and Miss Mollie S. GAINES, all of this city.

“Well done,” is the verdict of the friends of both parties. Frank has long and faithfully attended to the mails at our post office, and this event proves he has not be unmindful [sic] of the females. May the brightest anticipations of our friends be more than realized.
