Terrible Accident.--- James F. LOCKE, aged about 13 years, son of Culbert LOCKE, met with a terrible accident on Tuesday last. At the plow shop his uncle has a horse power in operation. The boys had been frequently forbidden to ride on it; but they had been in the habit of doing so. The platform had been taken from the master wheel that morning. The boy got on, and his legs slipped between the arms of the wheel, between which and the frame under it there is a space of about six inches only. He was carried round several times before the horses were stopped. On examination it was found that his right leg was broken in two places, and his left leg in one place. Drs. WOODS & MYERS dressed the wounds and set the broken limbs. The child may recover, but it is considered doubtful.
