Mrs. H. B. MITCHELL (Maria Elizabeth TOOL, married at Tool's Point, Iowa) was daughter of Susan Hamilton STINSON, who was born Oct. 31, 1800, Augusta County, Va.; died Jan. 20, 1862, Monroe, Iowa; married Oct. 9, 1817, in Washington County, Va., Adam Miller TOOL, who was born July 31, 1794, in Augusta Co., Va.; died April 4, 1877, Monroe, Iowa.

Susan Hamilton STINSON was daughter of James STINSON who died 1805 in Washington County, Va., and his wife Mary McCULLOCH, married Jan. 7, 1797, Abingdon, Washington Co., Va.. Mary McCULLOCH was daughter of Lt. Thomas McCULLOCH, Revolutionary soldier, born 1736, died Oct. 12, 1780, at Rutherfordton, North Carolina, and his wife Isabell PATRICK.
