The First Methodist Church chapel was the setting for the wedding of Kathryn GILCHRIST, (only) daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. Wayne GILCHRIST, 405 E. Adams, and James HOOTMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred I. HOOTMAN, 301 E. Kirkwood.... The new Mrs. HOOTMAN is a graduate of the Fairfield High School with the class of 1962, and from American Institute of Business in 1963. She is employed as bookkeeper at the Iowa State Bank and Trust Company. The groom graduated from the Fairfield High School in 1962 and attended Parsons College. He is now employed at the Hy-Vee Food Store.
