DECIDED -- The case of the City of Fairfield vs. Melchi SCOTT, has been decided in favor of the city. This was a case wherein Mr. SCOTT refused to lay a sidewalk in front of his house, and the city done it for him, and brought suit to recover cost of side-walk. Therefore we have a city.
