"Fairfield Ledger", Sept. 10, 1857, Pg. 3, Col. 1

EXPLOSION -- The boiler in the steam mill of RAHM & MAGINLY exploded about three weeks ago, sending pieces in every direction. The Engineer was badly injured, having his shoulder blade broken, and being severely cut on the hip. He is now out of danger, and is recovering rapidly. They are busy repairing, and will be in operation in a few days.

ANOTHER EXPLOSION: RAHM & MAGINLY have had another explosion. They had the boiler to their steam mill repaired, and had it in operation when it again exploded. No one was injured, we believe.
