About Those You Know

- Francis Arnold was a Sunday dinner guest at the home of her sister, Mr. Harold Bogner.
- Mrs. Henry Berg visited her daughter Clara at the nurses home in Fairfield last Friday.
- Mrs. Espy Dallner called at the home of her mother, Mrs. Alfred Hollander Tuesday afternoon.
- Mr. and Mrs. Clem Peck of Fairfield were visitors at the parental George Wendling home Sunday.
- Mr. and Mrs. Fro Shelman and daughter were Sunday visitors at the parental Henry Danielson home.
- Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cochran and son Jerry were Sunday dinner guests at the parental Fred Graff home.
- Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Burcham and uncle of Burlington were Sunday visitors at the parental Fred Graff home.
- Mrs. Mary Achenbach left Friday noon for a visit at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wm. Keinlen in West Burlington.
- The Lockridge school wishes to thank Mrs. Sadie Teeter for a number of books that were given it recently.
- Born- Sunday, January 19, to Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Brokken, a daughter, whose name has not been chosen at the present writing.
- Lester Vorhies has passed his last examination for the navy and expects to go to the Great Lakes training station the middle of next month.
- The A.E. Club was entertained at a 1 o'clock luncheon by Mrs. Ray Linderson last Friday. In honor of the hostess's birthday many nice handkerchiefs were given. All members were present except Mrs. Wm. Boos. Mrs. Russell Rauscher was an invited guest.
