Lockridge Times; Lockridge, Jefferson, Iowa; Thursday, January 28, 1937

- Mrs. Henry Horton had the misfortune to fall and break her hip last Thursday. She was taken to the Jefferson county hospital for medical attention.
- Rev. H.C. Ellsworth, formerly of the Salina Presbyterian church is now located at Golden, Colorado, where he preached his first sermon January 17th.
- Mrs. C.C. Shellman entertained a number of friends Thursday evening in honor of their twenty-third wedding anniversary and the birthday of Mrs. Lena Berg.
-The first of the Galloping Teas being sponsored by the Lutheran Ladies Aid, was held Tuesday evening when Mrs. W.E. Prouty and her guests were entertained by Mrs. Lena Berg.
- A second Galloping Tea was held Wednesday evening when Mrs. Lena Berg with her guests were entertained by Mrs. Roy Berg.
- James Reddish, who fell on the ice last Wednesday evening, is able to be back at his work at the lumber yard, but still walks with canes.
