OLD SETTLER HERE. Mrs. Margaret DEXTER of Ottumwa was in attendance at the Old Settlers Celebration yesterday. Margaret BLAKELY, oldest daughter of Joseph and Margaret BLAKELY, was born in Fairfield in a little house where now stands the Armory building. Fairfield was but a very small village at that time. She has passed her 80th milestone in life's journey; married in early girlhood Matt. McKINNEY. He passed away several years ago and she married John DEXTER, a well known Jefferson County resident.....
