HOMES OF FAIRFIELD. The H. M. TRUESDALE house, 507 East Burlington Street, originally built by R. H. VAN DOREN in 1866 and rebuilt by Phillip LANG, in 1872. It was later enlarged by E. F. SIMMONS, who lived here until his death in 1928. He is survived by his wife, Geneva, four sons, Beverly, W.W., James M. and Edward, also a daughter, Mrs. John A. HOERNER. Mr. SIMMONS was a leading citizen. He was a member of the building committee of the new Methodist Church with O. F. FRYER and the late Lee T. GOBBLE, who put through the erection of the present fine church. Mr. TRUESDALE is manager of the Fairfield Hatchery. His wife is one of the school teachers in this city.
