See "1879 History of Jefferson County", Pg. 516, for a list of Jesse SHAMP's children. Margaret E. SHAMP apparently was a child of his first marriage, to Prudence TEMPLETON.

Margaret E. SHAMP was married 22 July 1858 to Joseph FELL, by W. H. Phillips, in Jefferson County. He must have been the Joseph FELL who died Oct. 15, 1859, aged 26 y. 7(?) mos. & 17 ds.; see Vol. 3, Jefferson County Records, Pg. 207.

In 1861 Margaret FELL married David S. McKEE (See Vol. 4, Jefferson County Records, Pg. 277). There may have been one child by her marriage to Joseph FELL.
