IN DAYS GONE BY -- 70 YEARS AGO - (1859)

We regret to learn that Mr. Leroy GUTHRIE's company has found the road to Pike's Peak a hard one to travel. In a letter received from him he states that he has lost all of his cattle but one, and he is now at an expense of five dollars a day. The company we believe consists of himself, wife and four children, Robert, Emma, and Nancy GILBERT and a Mr. WILSON.
