OUR COUNTY FAIR. The Fair on last Wednesday and Thursday surpassed any exhibition of the kind ever witnessed in Jefferson County, in regard to stock and the number of persons in attendance. The weather proved most delightful, the genial rays of the sun descending with just sufficient force to make it pleasant... On the ground we observed threshing machines, wagons, corn planters, hay and straw cutters, shingle machines, and other articles, which we have not time nor room to enumerate. A saw set, exhibited by H. KARNS, excited considerable attention....
