Yesterday morning a man walked into Wm. L. LONG's office and said "Is this Mr. LONG?"

"Why, hello, Mont," was the reply. It was John C. Fremont ANAWALT of Los Angeles, whom Mr. LONG had seen last just 50 years ago. And from then on considerable ancient history of Fairfield was related.
