ROBERT KENYON was born in Fairfield in 1847, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James KENYON. He was educated in the schools of Fairfield and Polk township and at age 16 enlisted at Abingdon in Company D, 19th Iowa Infantry. In 1865, after discharge he returned to Polk township to farm his father's land. Married, Oct. 12, 1876, Miss Mary CLINE. Six children: William E., Anna J., Nora Dollie, Lewis, Earl and Roy. Mr. KENYON died March 27, 1928, and Mrs. KENYON May 11, 1934. Packwood.
