Sketch of Hon. George W. BALL. Born 6 Mar. 1848 in Hancock Co., W. Va..... 31 Oct. 1872 married Miss Maggie LAUGHLIN, daughter of Harvey and Mary LAUGHLIN. Five living children:

Charles F., born May 20, 1874;
Joseph L., born July 6, 1878;
Harry I., born Nov. 5, 1880;
Nellie B., born May 17, 1884;
William N., born Sept. 25, 1886.

They also lost one child, the second, Harry L., who was born May 31, 1876, and died Feb. 15, 1883.
