Page 2, Column 4Abigail YOUMANS.... was daughter of Jonathan SQUIRES, Jr., a soldier of the American Revolution. He was born Fairfield, Conn., in 1763. At the age of 14 he entered the service and served with his father in the regiment of Col. Goose Dan Schiack of the New York Battalion. Both were present at the burning of Danbury by the British.... Mr. SQUIRES died at Fishkill, N.Y. in 1842. In 1854 the family came to Monmouth, Ill., and in 1892 they moved to Libertyville where Mrs. YOUMANS died.... Tablet unveiled by her two great-granddaughters, Lois SHORES and Helen SCOVEL.
