LEDGER, March 28 1877 3-9.

Miss Washburn is well known to our people, having lived in this city since childhood. For a year or two past, she has been residing in the East, where she met the gentleman who is now her husband. After their marriage in this city, the happy pair started on an extended bridal tour, from here to New York, thence to Europe, where they will remain several months. Mr. F. is to be congratulated on bearing away one of Fairfield's handsomest prizes, and they are both to be wished both joy and prosperity.

Transcriber's note: Husband's name was John Friedlander of New York City. Cited from JEFFERSON COUNTY MARRIAGE Record #4724
