March, 1971. Mr. Raymond C. SWANSON, now of Fairfield, advises that the membership of the Presbyterian Church at Libertyville dwindled, through deaths and removals, and eventually, probably during World War II, the building was sold to a Birmingham man who tore down the building, and the material was used as "second hand" lumber. Now only the basement remains, just across Washington St., east of the Libertyville School building.
