Word has been received from Libertyville that Comrade George SCOVEL is very weak and there is no hope of his recovery. He was a member of Co. G, 4th Iowa Cavalry and his trouble has been of long duration, dating since the war.

James M. FRY was called to Libertyville by the serious illness of his brother-in-law George SCOVEL.
