Marshall Edward McCLAIN married, Sept. 29, 1878, Mary Jane McCORMICK, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George McCORMICK. Two children: Wm. Arthur who died in infancy, and Mrs. David (Maude) RICKETTS of this city. Mr McCLAIN died in 1880.

On Oct. 11, 1883, Mrs. McCLAIN was married to George Marshall DAVIS of Beckwith; one son, Mac Marshall DAVIS. Mary Jane (McCORMICK) McCLAIN-DAVIS died Jan. 8, 1932, and is buried beside her second husband in Bethesda Cemetery.
