May 31st, 1856.... To Henry KARNS, from Robert McILLHINNY and Mary McILLHINNY, husband and wife, of the County of Jefferson and State of Iowa, for $175.00, convey Lot No. One, Block No. One, Old Plat of Libertyville... And it is understood by these parties that the Well dug on the supposed line of Lots One & Two in Block One is to be equally and freely used by the occupants on Lot No. Two in said Block, neither party to claim exclusive control over the other in the free use of the water of said well....
