Blanche HOFFMAN, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank HOFFMAN of Fairfield, teacher in Perry, Iowa, retires. Began her teaching career in the rural schools in Jefferson County in 1929. Grad. Iowa Wesleyan College.

Her sisters, Mrs. Cecil DOWNEY, 910 S. Fifth, and Mrs. Lawrence MEACHAM and Mr. MEACHAM of Richland attended the open house event May 2 in Perry.
