Note: from the Iowa roster, one John C. HEUSTON, age 18, residence Libertyville, nativity Iowa, enlisted July 25, 1863, in Co. C, 8th Iowa Cavalry Regiment; mustered out Aug. 13, 1865 at Macon, Georgia.
