Phineas HESTON (Sr.) family in Penn Township, Jefferson County, 1856 Iowa Census; Page 882, Dwelling #129

[Transcriber's note: I transcribed the majority of this county for this census and it can be found at the link attached to this posting. In the data I'm transcribing this information from (the Prill transcriptions), the elder Phineas is shown as 82 years old; I read his age on the census microfilm as 62. This may be an error on my part as the film I was working with was heavily scratched. Given the age of wife Sarah, I'd say 82 is more likely than 62. ---J.S.]
