HESTON REUNION

.... The HESTON family was established in America in 1684 when Zebulon HESTON came from England and settled in Massachusetts. He was a blacksmith and set up the first forge in America. Later the family moved to Pennsylvania and joined the Quakers. Many of the members of the family still live in that state.

William HESTON, the grandfather of Aunt Jane (Libertyville) was a tanner by trade. He lived near Tippecanoe, Ohio. He visited in Iowa about 1860-1865. He is buried in the cemetery at Avon, Illinois. Samuel B. HESTON, Aunt Jane's father, is buried in Fell Cemetery.
