LIBERTYVILLE. A banquet was given at the GARBER House Thanksgiving day in honor of the old soldiers. An elegant dinner was served to 25 veterans of the war and their wives. After dinner there was music on the piano and the afternoon was spent in social chat and in relating stories which never grow old.

Among the guests were Jonathan FAMULENER and wife, J. R. LAUGHLIN and wife, J. MADDOX and wife, W. H. SULLIVAN and wife, W. S. VAUGHT and wife, Frank WINN and wife, J. N.
