“Jefferson County Records,” by Orville & Mary Prill. Vol. 7, p. 338:

They (Abraham and Amanda Frakes) are buried Walnut Creek Cemetery in Penn Township. She died May 1 1914 aged 70-8-11. He died in the Soldier’s home at Marshalltown 28 Mar. 1932. Left children, among whom William, Sam and James Frakes of Fairfield... See: Obit, Ledger Apr 2 1932 5-8.

William H. Frakes died in 1949 leaving one son, Joe of Fairfield.
