Fairfield, Ia., March 2 - The approaching marriage of Miss Irene Fleming and Hugo A. Lundberg, both well known young people of Fairfield, was cleverly announced Thursday evening at a dinner party given by Mrs. L.C. Ball and Mrs. Bernard Grotfelty of Lockridge, in the home of the former.

Miniature parasols of green and lavendar concealed slips of paper upon which the names of the bridal couple and the date of the wedding, March 17, were written.

After dinner, bridge was played, honors going to Mrs. Warren Young; consolation to Miss Helen Lee and the draw gift to Mrs. James Hammon.
