In Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Van Buren County, we noted tombstones for two BEALL Civil War soldiers who had given their addresses as Libertyville when enlisted.

BEALL, Jas. M. of Co. I, 9 Io. Cav., Died at Benton Bks., St. Louis, April 17, 1864, in the 30th year of his age.

BEALL, William, son of W. & M., Died Feb. 12, 1866, aged 23-11-21, Co. H, 30th Ia. Inf.

Both men were natives of Virginia.
