James V. WEBB... born Pleasant Twp., Wapello County, Iowa, 16 Mar. 1871, son of Isham and Jane (SHROM) WEBB. Isham born Jefferson Co., Iowa 14 Mar. 1844; Jane born Ohio Jan. 1, 1852.... The paternal grandfather Jefferson WEBB born Ohio, whence he removed to Indiana, coming to Iowa in 1843... He was one of the pioneers of Jefferson County, as was also the family of his first wife, Nancy PLEU (PLOUGHE), who was a native of Indiana....
