MR. and MRS. ROY J. LAMANSKY who reside near Brighton, 40th wedding anniversary. KASYLDA PECK and ROY J. LAMANSKY married June 1, 1927 at the Polishville church. They set up housekeeping on the farm where ROY was born. He jokes, “I’ve never moved!” He has been Jefferson County Assessor almost ten years; on County School Board for 18 years….Soil Conservation District Committee director…..Seven children: MRS. ROGER (PEARL) ARNOLD, Brighton; MRS. KEITH (ROSALIE) FARRIER of Fairfield; Tech. Sgt. JAMES LAMANSKY of the U. S. Air Force stationed at the University of Iowa with the ROTC program; MRS. NORMAN (ESTHER) EDWARDS of Brighton; MRS. GEORGE (MARYANN) DAVISON of Iowa City; DONALD LEMANSKY of Davenport, and SUSAN KAY at Glenwood; 14 grandchildren. MRS. LAMANSKY’S mother, MRS. PAUL PECK, will be a special guest at the celebration.
