George Powell, a retired rancher in Douglas Co., Wyoming...
born 22 Feb. 1847, Fairfield, Jefferson Co., Iowa.
Son of Enos Powell and Catherine [Harper] who are early pioneers of Iowa.
George married 22 March 1878 [Wyo] to Miss Maggie Skogland.
They had 2 daughters; Maud and Gertrude.
