R. PATTISON, farmer, Sec. 20; P.O. Fairfield; born in County Antrim, Ireland, in 1816; came to Jefferson Co. 1849. Married Rosa Gilbert in 1849; she was born in County Antrim also, in 1828; they have ten children -- Alexander W., John, Anna E., Emma J., Robert R., Martha M., Rosetta, William J., Hugh C. and Mary E. Owns 193 acres of land. Has held the offices of School Director, Township Treasurer and Road Supervisor. Presbyterian church.
