“The Gillham Family in America,” Published in Fairfield, Iowa, 1917, by Col. Wilson Gillham Heaton, U.S. Army, Retired.

“Thomas Cunningham Gillham (father of Calvet Addison Gillham) was a grandson of Ezekiel Gillham, Revolutionary soldier. Ezekiel Gillham was born in Virginia, married there, served in South Carolina, then moved to Oglethorpe County, Georgia.” Col. W. G. Heaton’s sister established the line of descent for DAR membership.
