Fieldon C. WOOLUMS born Highland County, Ohio, Feb. 12, 1841, of Scotch-Irish (sic) descent and was a cooper by trade, learning the business under the direction of his father in his boyhood days. Later farming, and in 1867 moved to Henry Co., Ill., spending four or five years there, then came to Jefferson County, Iowa, settling in Black Hawk Township, Sec. 19.... Died at Packwood 25 Aug. 1911. Married Matilda J. WALKER. Four children: H. Edward is the eldest; Elijah W., of Barnes City, Iowa, proprietor of a general store there; Jennie May, wife of Dr. S. D. PACKWOOD, St. Joseph, Mo., and Curtis A..... H. Edward WOOLUMS married 21 Mar. 1889 Miss Anna B. DUKE, daughter of Luther and Mary Jane (McCREERY) DUKE; her father was born in Va., mother born near Abingdon in this county. Nine children in DUKE family (names). H. Edward WOOLUMS has two children: Irl R., born Feb. 20, 1890, and Don C., born May 15, 1895.... Christian Church.
