ANDREW P. ANDERSON, born in Sweden 23 Feb. 1846, son of Jonas F. and Anna L. ANDERSON; mother born Aug. 2 1811; father born Nov. 16 1809..... Mrs. A. died 24 April 1870 in Lockridge Township, Jefferson County. Andrew P. was fourth in order of birth in his father’s family. When 11, with his parents, he became an American citizen. Fluently speaks German, Swedish and English Languages. In 1876 became a trusted employee of J. A. SPIELMAN, Fairfield. Married in Fairfield 4 July 1877 Miss Martha FER, native of Iowa, born in Linn Co., 3 July 1850. Three children: Elizabeth, first-born, died in infancy; Nellie F. and Samuel A. are at home.
