DES MOINES -- Bonnie Brock Seney, 60, of Des Moines, a former resident of Newton, died of heart failure Monday, Sept. 11, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.

The Rev. William D. Cotton, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines, will conduct services. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association will be accepted.

Survivors are three sons, Brock of St. Charles, Ill., Bradley of Seattle, Wash., and Brent of Columbus, Ohio; a grandson; a sister, Marge Yost of Newton; and three brothers, Ragan Brock and Worthing Brock, both of Newton, and William Brock of Mountain Home, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel, in 1980.

Mrs. Seney, a former secretary at The Newton Daily News and most recently a secretary at Midwestern Power Products in Des Moines, was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines.

The daughter of Ira and Bessie Dales Brock, she was born June 9, 1929 in Monroe, was raised in Newton and was graduated from Newton Community High School.
