Carson City, NV – Howard Clinton Funk, 62, a resident of Carson City for 14 years, died in a Carson City hospital Saturday.
He was born March 26, 1912 in Nevada, Iowa.
Surviving are his widow, Helen; sons, Clifton Edward, Dana, Kim, all of Carson City, and Noel of Sparks; daughter, Lois Jonoubei of Roswell, GA; sisters, Edna Turner of Evansdale, Iowa and Lena Burns of Mingo, Iowa.
A funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Walton’s Chapel of the Valley with burial to follow at the Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Note: Howard is actually buried at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City, Carson City County, Nevada. He also has a tombstone in the Ashton Cemetery along side his parents and two siblings.
