Funeral For Mrs. Jackson Thursday
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Grace Chapel at Palo Alto for Mrs. Juliaette Jackson, widow of George Jackson. Burial was made in the Palo Alto cemetery.
The services were conducted by Dr. Chas. B. Hankins, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church at Newton. Music was furnished by old friends of the deceased, Mrs. Frank Wilcox, Mrs. Edward Wilcox, Matt Charlesworth, and George Shelley. They were accompanied on the piano by Miss Laura Eggert. Among the old time favorite hymns the choir chose “Rock of Ages,” “In That City” and “Nearer My God to Thee.”
The pall bearers were: Alfred Lynn, George Snook, Harry Harlan, Niff Harlan, Frank Wilcox and James Robinson.
Many beautiful flowers were sent by friends who met to pay their last respects to the deceased.
