Young Man Dies
A telegram received late Saturday night by Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Rose, of Baxter, brought the sad news of the death of their son, Ira Rose, who passed away at his home in Hamilton, Mont., at 9:30 Saturday evening, April 30. The telegram contained no particulars and the cause of death is not known.
Ira Rose was born on his father’s farm, south of Baxter, April 26, 1884, being thirty-seven years and four days old. He resided in this community up to fourteen years ago at which time he went to Gering, Neb. On Thanksgiving Day, 1910, he was married to Miss Bessie Elliott of Gering. Six children were born to them, all of whom with the mother survive to mourn his demise. Two years ago Mr. Rose and his brother Bert, with their families, moved to Hamilton, following their occupation of farming. Last spring Ira purchased a farm and had already done much to improve it when his plans were interrupted by death.
Funeral services were held at Hamilton.
