H. E. Lovelace Dies Suddenly Monday
H. E. Lovelace died suddenly at his home Monday morning about 10:30 o’clock after a weeks illness with pneumonia. He had been considered critically ill but at the time of his death it was thought that he was recovering nicely until heart trouble set in and death occurred within a short time.
He was born in Wayne county, Kentucky, sixty-seven years ago moving to a farm near Kellogg when he was a small child about nine years of age. He was married forty-five years ago and lived on a farm until a few years prior to his death when he and his wife and two children, Herbert and Leota, and one adopted son, Allie moved to Newton where they have lived ever since.
Mr. Lovelace has many friends who will be grieved to hear of his sudden and unexpected death.
He is survived by a widow and three children, Herbert who is some place in the east and will be unable to be present for his father’s funeral and the two children who are living in Newton, Mrs. Leota Schermerhorn and Allie Lovelace and his mother, Mrs. Lucinda Lovelace of Kellogg, and one sister, Mrs. H M. Cox.
Funeral announcements will be made later.
