Mrs. Talcott Parsons Funeral Held Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Talcott Parsons were held at the home, north west of Newton, Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. R. S. Mills. There was a large attendance of neighbors and friends for Mrs. Talcott had been very much liked in the neighborhood where she had long lived.
Music was rendered by a quartette, composed of Mrs. Don Raridon, Mrs. Wicks, William Murdoch, and Ross Mills.
Those who acted as pallbearers were neighbors of the family, Thomas Petted, Frank McDermott, Tom McDermott, Adrian Raridon, Alex Short and John Loupee.
The death of Mrs. Parsons was particularly sad for her passing away leaves her aged companion without kith nor kin in this world. He is almost eighty years of age and quite hard of hearing and depended upon his wife for much help.
The body of Mrs. Parsons was buried in Newton cemetery.
